An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Additional information

How we protect your data

Your contact email, username, first and last name is encrypted in the database and can only be read from WordPress.

What third parties we receive data from

The only data we receive is from Google Analytics, third party plugins, avatar services, and data submitted on this site. We review all third party plugins before they go live on to, hopefully, ensure they do not farm user data and are GDPR compliant in some way.

What automated decision making and/or profiling we do with user data

We use Google Analytics for site/page performance. We do not profile our users individually. All data from Google Analytics is aggregated.
